A quiet step forward in surface combustion – the BX25-40G/GE Series

Across most industrialised markets, NOx limits are no longer a forecast; they are a line item on the permit.
Baite Burners’ answer is not a slogan, but a set of hardware that keeps the numbers low without asking the plant to re-engineer the room around it.
Metal-fiber surface, even heat
The BX25-40G/GE range uses a sintered metal-fiber mat instead of a traditional metal or ceramic flame holder. The result is a thin, pale flame that sits literally on the surface, distributing heat laterally and cutting peak flame temperature – the main driver of thermal NOx.
Premixed all the way
Gas and combustion air are blended upstream in a venturi mixer. By the time the mixture reaches the burner head, there is no secondary air to “trim”; the stoichiometry is fixed. This short, fast combustion short-circuits the NOx formation window and keeps CO below 10 ppm across the turndown.
Numbers that arrive on site, not only on paper
BX25G Single-stage (170~300 kW)
BX25GE Electronic (170~300 kW)
BX40G Single-stage (200~400 kW)
BX40GE Electronic (120~400 kW)
Minimum NOx: 18 mg/m³ (reference O₂ 3.5 %)
Standard IP40 electrics, ionisation rod flame check, integrated inlet filter.
Two ways to run it
G-models give single-stage on/off control; GE-models add electronic proportional modulation. Two independent servomotors track the gas/air curve, so the excess-air set-point stays flat from high fire down to roughly 20 % load. No linkage rods, no external VFD, no site calibration beyond entering the gas train data.
Room to retrofit
The burner ships on a compact hinge-mounted frame. In most boiler rooms the swap is a one-shift job: remove the old diffuser, slide in the new head, reconnect the gas train and the 230 V control box. The outer dimensions stay within the EN 676 “D” flange envelope, so door openings usually remain untouched.
Long runs, low noise
Because the flame is surface-bound, combustion roar drops by 6–8 dB(A) compared with conventional forced-draft burners. The metal-fiber mat is also tolerant to thermal cycling; typical mat life before first service is 8 000–10 000 hours on clean natural gas.
Where it fits
Steam and hot-water boilers up to 400 kW
Air heaters, ovens, dryers that need < 30 mg NOx
Sites that must keep electrical spare-parts inventory minimal (one 230 V fan motor, one control PCB).
No superlatives, just a quieter box on the wall
The BX25-40G/GE Series will not make headlines, but it may keep your next stack test uneventful. For data sheets, BIM files or an application checklist, e-mail bt2@baite.com、bt3@baite.com. Our office website:www.baiteburners.com
