What is a Burner?
A burner is a device that ejects fuel and air in a specific manner for mixing (or mixed ejection) and combustion. Burners are categorized into industrial burners, combustion engines, civil burners, and special burners based on their types and application fields.
Burners, also known as combustion engines, can be classified into several types as follows:
By fuel type: oil burners and gas burners.
By usage: kiln burners and boiler burners.
By application field: industrial burners, civil burners, and special burners.
Classified by the fuel burned, we have:
Oil burners, which are further divided into light oil burners (such as diesel) and heavy oil burners (such as waste oil).
Gas burners, including natural gas burners, liquefied petroleum gas burners, city gas burners, and methane burners.
The burners we commonly refer to are boiler burners.
Oxygen-fired burners, commonly known as burning nozzles, come in various specifications and types, including oil and gas (coal gas), coal (coal dust and coal water slurry) categories. They have a wide range of applications and are required in industrial situations where fuel combustion is needed to heat materials or trigger reactions.
Combustion engines, also known as integrated burners, primarily use oil and gas. They are generally used in small and medium-sized fuel boilers, fuel hot air blowers, ovens (baking chambers), and small fuel heating furnaces. Industrial burners (nozzles) can achieve the functions of combustion engines with additional configurations, but combustion engines cannot meet the requirements of fuel combustion heating or reactions in many industrial situations. Broadly speaking, civil stove appliances, torch sprayers, and spray combustion devices in engines fall into the category of civil burners and special burners.
The distinction between industrial burners and boiler burners is strictly enforced in the United States, and the two cannot be used interchangeably.


Why Are Burners Widely Used?
Burners can be classified into various types, each with different prices and performances. Nowadays, with the country's emphasis on environmental protection, burners are indispensable. They offer many advantages. Let's briefly introduce them below:
Burners are environmentally friendly and do not produce excessive oil smoke to pollute the environment, thus protecting the environment.
Burners ensure complete combustion, saving fuel.
Burners save labor and can eliminate many unnecessary expenses. Work that previously required two people can now be handled by a single burner.
The Role of Burners in Reality
The role of a burner is to continuously feed fuel and air into the furnace, organize the pulverized coal flow reasonably, and ensure good mixing, rapid and stable ignition, and combustion. The application fields of burners are extensive, and they are widely used in boilers, asphalt mixing stations, oilfields, incinerators, hot air furnaces, casting machinery, industrial kilns, and other thermal machinery equipment. Wherever fire is used, burners can be applied. Whatever fuel can be burned, burners can be used. Burners can reduce waste emissions and environmental pollution.
